I'm Vivianne, an artist, tutor, facilitator and lover of all things creative.
I feel so fortunate to help build connections between creatives and the broader community, while empowering artists and makers along the way.
I've developed and facilitated art classes, organised community art events and workshops, curated exhibitions, established mentorship programs and more, while continuing to produce my own artwork.

ABOUT VIVIANNE
A full time artist and tutor for over 25 years, my move to Port Macquarie in 2018 saw me focussing on facilitating more community events and workshops.
Through classes, community events, mentorship and tuition, I help people reconnect with, and unleash, their inner artist by providing a supportive space, the skills to create and gentle personalised guidance.
I empower students to make their own unique art with confidence and passion.
A multidisciplinary artist myself, I am deeply curious, and love to combine various styles and mediums to best convey the look and emotions for a particular piece.
This produces contemporary pieces which often blur the boundary between two and three dimensional art.
Works are rich in layers and meaning, usually with a proudly feminine undertone.

Hastings Arts Trail
Held in July 5, 2025, the trail was a a free 2 day event connecting creatives with the community.
Visitors explored hundreds of works by artists and makers as they openend up their studios and shared spaces throughout the Port Macquarie-Hastings Region.
The Arts Trail was initiated and led by Vivianne Hazenveld, generously supported by Port Macquarie Hastings Council and Port Macquarie Museum.
Visitors browsed the map, either online or in print, chose their destinations and explored at their own pace.
We are thrilled to announce that we have received funding from Port Macquarie Hastings Council again this year!
