SEASCAPES
Inspired by my recent move closer back to the ocean, these works evoke a sense of calm.
Largely acrylic on canvas with the odd bit of mixed media thrown in!
WEARABLE ART
In 2018, I took the idea of art off the wall and onto jewellery form so the wearer could make their own artistic statement.
Carefully curated collections of art to wear, each piece lovingly handmade to be as unique as you are!
3 DIMENSIONAL /RELIEF ART
​​- art which is not just on a two dimensional (flat) surface.
A lot of my relief work (the work hangs on a wall but is still 3 Dimensional) includes unusual objects;
pebbles, wax, wallaby bones even my sisters wisdom tooth, have all found their way into these works!
FIGURATIVE ART-
- clearly derived from real object sources, therefore by definition representational though not necessarily realistic.
ABSTRACT
- art that does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead uses shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks to achieve its effect.
SKETCHING
​​- quick works, usually created on site. Mediums include pen, watercolour, ink and charcoal.
