Why join the trail?
Thinking of joining the 2026 Trail but not sure if it’s for you?
Whether you're a professional creative or just starting out, we’ve designed it to be as rewarding (and stress-free) as possible.
There was something so beautifully wholesome about the trail last year. Spaces were filled with creativity and joyful smiles, definitely a feeling you will want to experience.
Why join us for 2026?
Real Connection: There's nothing like the "one-on-one." Share your process and stories directly with a curious and appreciative public.
No "Schlepping" Required: If you’re exhibiting in your own space, there’s no need to pack up and move your entire studio. You can set up in the days leading up to the trail at your own pace.
No Commission: When hosting in your own space, every cent of your sales goes to you.
Find Your Tribe: Many 2025 makers were surprised to find out how many fellow creatives lived just around the corner! It’s a great way to bond with your local arts community, even more so when sharing a small studio or a larger venue.
There’s no need to be a perfectionist! While this is a great opportunity to tidy up your space and get your works in order, you don’t need to create a perfectly manicured space. Visitors LOVE a bit of creative chaos and seeing where the magic actually happens. It’s all about the authentic story behind your art.
Choose your space: Whether it's in your own home studio, on the dining room table, in your backyard, or in one of the many shared venues, there is bound to be a space that suits you. If you need to find a venue, please contact me - there are still free and low-cost venues available, such as Sunset Gallery or Port City Bowling Club.
Get Your Work (and name) Out There: The 2025 trail saw 2,500+ map views and thousands of visitors. Having your name on the official printed map, the trail website, and across our social media is a huge boost for your visibility. With the added benefit of shared promotion from generous supporters such as local papers, Sue Jogever and the Artwalk crew, your work will be shown to art lovers and collectors across the region.
Beyond the Weekend: Many of our makers were thrilled to see their mailing lists grow with new art buyers' email addresses, while others picked up commissions and plenty of sign-ups for their own creative workshops.
