Artist and tutor Vivianne Hazenveld is showing her latest collection: “Simple Elegance” in the windows of Elements of Design. Inspired by the Feminine and with a limited, often muted colour palette, these works are timeless, elegant and calming to the soul.

About The Event
Vivianne Hazenveld is a mixed media artist and tutor who ran a successful art school for adults in Sydney. Moving into a beautiful new studio and teaching space in Sancrox (opposite Billabong Zoo.)
She is excited to bring her contemporary art classes to the area. Deeply curious, she loves to explore many styles and mediums in her work, which often includes female faces, objects from nature and rich layering.
Guided by previous single line drawings, she created the “Simple Elegance,” a collection to suit the aesthetic of this beautiful store. Using mixed media including ink, charcoal, pastel and paint on paper, Vivianne has fallen in love while creating these works; swooning over the lines as they flow and swirl. Inspired by the Feminine, and with a limited and often muted colour palette, these works are timeless, elegant and calming to the soul.
Works can be viewed day or night during Artwalk, between 1- 8 October, 2020.
