In conjunction with the Drawn From Here Project,* I am offering a special workshop to help participants with their process.

Whether you;

- have no idea where to begin

- have an idea but not sure how to go about it all

- need some guidance on getting your vision to match what’s on the page...or...  

- you want to learn some amazing new techniques to take your sketchbook to next level fabulous.

In this course, you will get as much personalised guidance as you need from a professional artist and tutor. I will help step you through the process so you can create your own art journal with confidence and fun.

Being a mixed media artist, I will help you find the perfect mediums and techniques for the images or text you wish to include.

You will be inspired by examples of amazing artists books, learn a range of amazing techniques and create a beautiful cohesive art book which will be a great reflection of your creativity.  

If you would like to bring a friend or a child over 12, please do! I am offering private tuition for anyone bringing a new student along. 

Workshop: Sunday August 4 from 10.30 - 4.30 pm @ Sunset Gallery Port Macquarie. Price is $150, a little more if you would like to join our shared lunch. Please register your interest via the web link below.

*Drawn From Here is an annual art journal project, run by Katherine Appleby, sponsored by Sunset Framing and Gallery. The exhibition will feature over 50 art journals completed by locals living in Greater Port Macquarie. In this workshop you have the choice to create your own journal (just for you) or you can register and exhibit with the Drawn From Here Project at $35 pp* here
